Bio: Sharon Carol Demery

Sharon Carol Demery moved to Los Angeles from the San Francisco Bay area. There she attended UCLA and Otis Parson’s School of Art and Design. Here she developed her modern art with an affinity for vibrant color, purity and simplicity, depicting images of abstraction that retain their cohesiveness. She started showing in galleries and museums around the country and her work is in many private and public collections. An award winning artist, her work has been reviewed and written about in many publications. Sharon Carol taught painting at Arizona Western College in Yuma from 1979 to 1981 after which she moved to San Diego where she continued her studies at UCSD, San Diego City College, and Platt College. Sharon has studied and developed her art throughout her entire life. Her journey continues.
